*** Colossal Casey Clausen Completes Comeback for Herbs

May 17th, 2019

Herb's battled right to the end to win a hard-fought win.  Luke the Rock Johnson carried the weight on the mound going 5.2 innings and striking out 5.  Lucas the Splinter Clausen came in for relief.  Herbs had trouble getting their bats going against Devin the Red Devil Trevisani who pitched 3.1 innings of one hit ball.  Donato Jumpin Joe Jellenrich led off the bottom of the 6th with his first LL hit, sparking Herb's comeback.  The play of the game for Herb's was Austin the Ice Man Sells with a huge catch in left field.  Colossal Casey Clausen did a great job behind the plate, filling in for a thinned Herb's team.  WFD got solid plate performances from Tyler TNT Thorngren, who had 2 hits, 2 runs scored and and RBI, Devin the Red Devil, who went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and Aiden Mr. Smooth Nofri who went 1-3 with 2 RBI's.  Dominick the Destroyer Nucci recorded his first LL hit.  Dan the Henchman Helfert came in to pitch relief for WFD and went 1-3 at the plate.  Ethan Magic Man McCaw played great at first base for Herb's, flashing leather on several occasions.
